1. Zombie Run
This Halloween-themed circuit combines running, burpees, squats and push-ups. The story is a zombie chase; your training pace should still suit the planned work.
Complete three rounds in the stated order. Choose a running pace that lets you start the bodyweight movements with control. Adjust repetitions or movement variations before starting if needed.
2. Trick or Treat Tabata
This session uses 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Complete eight intervals for each exercise, giving four minutes per exercise. The four exercises make 16 minutes of programmed intervals, excluding any additional transitions.
The short work periods are not a requirement to move maximally. Choose a kettlebell and jump variation you can control throughout the intervals. Keep any festive rewards for after the exercise.
3. Haunted House Challenge
Imagine each station as a room in a haunted house. Deadlifts, pull-ups, wall balls and sit-ups provide the training structure; the theme adds the story.
Complete three rounds. The selection does not prescribe loads for the deadlift or wall ball, so agree suitable loads and movement variations before starting. Decorations should stay outside the working area.
4. Witches’ Battle
This five-round workout combines kettlebell swings, push-ups and V-ups. It can be a shared group session without assuming that all participants use identical loads or variations.
If you turn it into a team workout, define how repetitions are shared and scored beforehand. The individual prescription alone does not define partner changes or synchronisation.
Make the theme work for your training
Choose one workout suited to the group, prepare the equipment and warm up for its movements. Keep enough light to see the floor and equipment, and choose costumes that leave your vision, grip and movement unrestricted.
