HYROX Gent and the race venue

Gent is the Dutch name for Ghent, called Gand in French. The announced December 2026 edition is at Flanders Expo. The city illustration represents the destination, not an outdoor race route through the historic centre.

The official HYROX Benelux events listing announces 17–20 December 2026 at Flanders Expo. Details were checked on 22 October 2026. Recheck the official listing and your registration before making final arrangements.

Choose your division before planning the trip

Confirm the exact category and race day attached to your entry. A multi-day event does not mean every division races on every day. Keep your booking confirmation accessible and distinguish an athlete entry from spectator access.

For Doubles or Relay, agree meeting arrangements and responsibilities before travelling. The division guide explains why sharing work is different from completing an individual race.

Travel to the event site

Plan the journey to Flanders Expo rather than only to central Gent. Check the venue's current access instructions, the event entrance and any parking or public-transport arrangements close to your visit.

Allow time for the final approach, finding the correct hall and completing the organiser's arrival procedures. An estimated arrival in the city is not the same as reaching athlete check-in.

Prepare for the actual race tasks

Use the published format to identify priorities. Practise unfamiliar stations separately, then introduce controlled transitions with running. You do not need to reproduce the entire race in every session.

Our station guide, rowing guide and SkiErg guide provide movement context. Use the training guide to organise the week.

Check Youngstars separately

Do not infer that a children's event is offered in Gent from the adult calendar. Youngstars has its own event information and entry arrangements. Confirm the actual location and schedule before planning a family visit.

Read the Youngstars guide for the questions to check with the organiser.

Explore other destinations

Compare Utrecht and Amsterdam if another trip suits your calendar. Each event needs its own venue and category check. Our European HYROX hub brings available local guides together.
