Privacy information, cookie choices and contact details for Wodball.

What are cookies used for?

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Other technologies can also read or store identifiers. Wodball distinguishes necessary functions, optional audience measurement and advertising.

Make and change your choice

You can accept, refuse or customise optional purposes. Closing a message or continuing to browse does not mean acceptance. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to review your choices. Refusing optional cookies does not prevent you from reading articles.

Necessary functions

WordPress authentication cookies secure administrators’ sessions. Session cookies expire when the browser closes or the login period ends; “Remember me” can extend a login to two weeks. Consent choices are stored so you are not asked again on every page. The private preview uses an access cookie to protect the website.

Optional audience measurement

Google Analytics may use _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits and maintain sessions. Their standard lifetime can reach two years, depending on Google settings and browser restrictions. They are not necessary to read the site and depend on your consent.

Advertising and partners

Google AdSense and partners listed in its consent message may use advertising cookies, identifiers and similar technologies. The current partner list, purposes, legal bases and declared retention periods are available under “Manage options”. Google may use cookies such as __gads, __gpi or IDE, depending on context and your choices. A cookie name here does not mean it is present on your device.

How long your choices last

The private preview banner remembers choices for six months. On the public website, Google’s message manages its own validity period and may ask again when it expires or important information changes. Cookie lifetimes and retention of the data collected are different things.

A merchant link takes you to a separate site with its own rules. You can also delete cookies in your browser; this may clear preferences or sign you out. Deleting cookies does not automatically erase data already sent to a provider.
