Browsing, hosting and security
OVHcloud, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, hosts the website. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser information to deliver the site, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website. Logs follow the hosting provider’s retention periods and security needs; records relating to an incident may be retained as needed to investigate it or establish legal claims.
When you contact us
If you email us, we process your address, any name you provide and your message to reply. This relies on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, or pre-contractual steps for a proposed collaboration. Correspondence is retained while the enquiry is handled and afterwards only as needed for follow-up, legal obligations or legal claims. Please do not send medical information or other sensitive details that are unnecessary for your enquiry.
Audience measurement with Google Analytics
With your consent, we may use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page views, interactions, device characteristics and approximate location. Cookie identifiers are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Analytics cookies are optional. You can refuse or withdraw consent through the privacy settings. Google applies the retention settings in the service and its documentation; aggregated reports may be retained separately from user-level data.
Google AdSense advertising
Wodball uses Google AdSense to fund its content. Google’s consent message lists the relevant advertising purposes and partners. Depending on your choices, these partners may process identifiers, device information, interactions and browsing activity to deliver, personalise or measure ads. You can refuse optional purposes and manage individual choices, including objections to processing presented as relying on legitimate interests. Some limited technical processing may remain for security, fraud prevention or limited ads, under the service’s rules.
Affiliate links and third-party content
Some merchant links are affiliate links: Wodball may receive a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Merchants apply their own privacy policies when you visit them. Product images may be served by third parties, which receive technical information needed to display them, such as your IP address. Any embedded content requiring optional tracking is subject to your consent choice.
Recipients and international transfers
Data is available to the publisher and providers needed for hosting, email and security and, depending on your choices, Google services and partners identified in the consent message. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards depend on the recipient and may include an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Administrative accounts
Public registration is not available. Administrative accounts use profile details and authentication cookies. Account data is kept while the account is used and afterwards deleted or reduced according to administrative needs, security and applicable obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your data and, depending on the legal basis, object to processing or request portability. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing. Send requests to contact@wodball.com; proportionate identity verification may be requested if there is reasonable doubt. You may complain to the CNIL or the data protection authority in your country of residence.
