Start with the terms for your actual purchase
HYROX ticket arrangements vary by market, season, event and purchased options. Do not treat a single deadline or an old article as a universal rule. This guide explains what to check, rather than promising a specific contractual outcome.
The French source discusses older transfer arrangements. Its one-week deadline and broad transfer examples should not be used to decide what your current booking permits.
Check Flex and Lite Flex
The official UK name-change guidance states that a name change requires a Flex or Lite Flex add-on and is allowed only once. That is market-specific guidance, not proof of identical terms for every country.
Choose the relevant country and event in the official support portal. Check your confirmation for the exact add-on you purchased and read its terms.
Separate different requests
A correction to personal details, replacing an athlete, changing division, moving to another event and cancelling for a refund are different requests. Permission for one does not imply permission for the others.
Do not assume that a Doubles entry can become Singles, that an event can be moved to another city or that a replacement athlete can enter a different category. Ask about the specific change you need.
Find the deadline and any charges
Read the applicable timing, including the event time zone and whether a deadline relates to your race day or the wider event period. Check whether a fee, price difference or non-refundable component applies.
Do not assume an illness or other unexpected problem automatically creates an exception. The organiser must confirm what the purchase terms allow.
Use the official booking route
Open your registration confirmation or account through the organiser's official channel. Review the available action and its consequences before submitting it. A private agreement to pass on a ticket does not itself complete an authorised name change.
If the permitted option is unclear, contact support with your booking details and a concise description of the request. Keep the response and any change confirmation.
Plan future entries with the terms in mind
Check work-sharing, travel and availability with teammates before purchase. Review the cancellation and change options at that point rather than assuming they can be added later.
Our division guide helps clarify which race format you intend to enter. The destination hub provides city guides, while official booking information remains the reference for ticket decisions.
