Start with the exercise and load
Choose exercises and a load you can control before comparing handles, construction and size. A weight prescribed in an Rx workout is not automatically the weight to buy while learning.
This documentary selection includes two 8 kg variants with different constructions and one 16 kg cast-iron reference from Amazon.fr. They illustrate different materials and uses; they are not interchangeable loads or a compulsory progression.

Sveltus Training 8 kg: cast-iron construction
The Training range uses one-piece cast iron with a powder-coated finish and a colour marker. The linked variant is 8 kg. Compare it when that load fits the exercises you already practise.
Examine the handle opening and one- or two-handed hold. Material alone cannot tell you whether the shape will feel comfortable in a rack position or repeated swings.

Sveltus Fit 8 kg: a different build at the same listed weight
The Fit allows a comparison with the Training at the same announced weight. Sveltus describes a PVC shell filled with concrete and protective feet. It is therefore a different construction rather than the same cast-iron product in another colour.
Check body size and handle geometry. Protective feet do not remove the need for a suitable floor. Confirm dimensions before buying a pair or using movements where the weights pass close together.

Amazon Basics 16 kg: a fixed cast-iron load
The selected reference is cast iron with a painted surface and textured handle. Consider the 16 kg variant only if that weight suits the intended movements.
A load you can carry may be too heavy for a press or another technical exercise. Compare needs exercise by exercise rather than following a single weight recommendation based on gender.

How to choose the weight
If possible, try several loads on the exercises you plan to perform. Look for control through the lift, position and lowering phase, with capacity left for the session’s volume. The limiting movement can determine the purchase if you want one versatile kettlebell.
Ask your coach for guidance based on execution. Buying a heavier weight for later may leave you without an appropriate tool today; conversely, a light weight may soon be limiting for some carries.
Handle, finish, base and packaging
Check hand clearance, rough edges, the handle finish separately from the body coating and how the base sits on your floor. Two constructions can have different volumes at equal weight. Confirm whether the offer includes one kettlebell or a set.
One kettlebell or a pair?
One can serve goblet squats, unilateral carries and single-arm exercises. Two-load movements need a suitable pair and enough space. This changes budget, storage and the sessions available.

Frequently asked questions
Does it replace every dumbbell? No. Grip and mass distribution differ; suitable load and comfort can change between tools.
Can it go directly on the floor? Check the floor and protect the work area. A flat base or feet do not authorise dropping it.
Are all three beginner products? Experience alone does not decide. Choose the weight and construction for a controlled movement and a specific use.
