Find a French destination guide

Whether you want to try a race, take part or accompany someone, this hub brings together Wodball’s French destination coverage. Use local guides for context and questions to investigate before travelling.

This is an editorial directory rather than a list of races currently open for entry. A city guide does not guarantee a current event. Confirm availability in the official calendar.

Choose a destination for your plans

Start with your intended division, journey, accommodation and the availability of companions. A nearby city is not necessarily the simplest choice if the venue is far from your arrival station or your category is unavailable.

Compare the whole journey from home to the competition hall and plan the return after racing. For Doubles or Relay, agree a budget and logistics before booking separately. Older event information needs checking because venues, access and ticket conditions may change.

        Check the event before booking

Use the official HYROX race finder to open the specific event page. Confirm division, exact venue, ticket conditions and the schedule relevant to your entry. Availability in one category does not establish availability in another.

Check the entrance, briefing, spectator arrangements and time needed for arrival, registration and preparation. City illustrations depict destinations; they are not course maps showing a street race.

        Prepare for your first HYROX

Choosing a city solves logistics; preparation depends on experience and division. Understand the format, identify unfamiliar stations and practise running transitions. If entering as a team, clarify each person’s role.

Read HYROX for beginners, the divisions guide, the eight stations and training fundamentals.

        Explore Europe too

For options beyond France, HYROX in Europe groups destination coverage by country. Compare transport and participation conditions before choosing. The directory does not rank races by difficulty or guarantee tickets.

        Frequently asked questions

Where can I find a French race? Check the organiser’s current calendar. Wodball’s city coverage provides background and does not replace official confirmation.

Can the family come? Check spectator tickets and access for the specific event. A child wishing to participate needs the separate Youngstars programme where offered. An adult event does not guarantee a youth race.
