Choose your February workout
Valentine’s Day offers a team session, while DT and Fast and Heavy focus on loaded repetitions. Nate requires repeatable gymnastics skills; Randy uses one lift for a high-repetition task. Choose by skill and equipment rather than the length of the exercise list.
This is an editorial selection of training ideas, not a calendar of sessions to complete together. Leave recovery between demanding workouts and choose a suitable version for your experience and equipment.
Valentine's Day
A partner workout with different tasks for each athlete and a shared carry.
DT
Five rounds of deadlifts, hang power cleans and push jerks with one barbell.
Fast and Heavy
Descending dumbbell thruster sets separated by 400 m runs.
Nate
A 20-minute AMRAP of muscle-ups, handstand push-ups and heavy kettlebell swings.
Randy
Seventy-five power snatches for time.
Other DT versions
Heavy DT raises the barbell load; Double DT doubles the rounds. These are separate tasks, not interchangeable score categories.
Prepare, scale and record
Read the complete workout and its special rules before starting. Warm up progressively, rehearse unfamiliar movements and arrange your equipment. Choose loads, repetitions and movement variations before the timer starts.
For a timed workout, record elapsed time; for an AMRAP, record rounds plus additional repetitions. Keep any prescribed rest and note time caps, loads and substitutions. Follow the individual workout page for formats with different scoring rules.
